The brief was that of a small modest single – family detached house, with compact volume, and a traditional image.

The building was solved with load – bearing walls of stone masonry, with recycled stone ashlars obtained from demolished buildings.

The living areas are arranged around a double – height space, open to a porch oriented to the South. Two galleries on the East and West facades get the most of the sun light conditions at different hours of the day, and favour crossed ventilation.
