“Rúa Orzán”, Corunna

This building is located within the historic down – town protected area. It was built in the 20s, with an eclectic style, and it is part of the listed protected buildings for its architectonical value, with “structural” protection. However, it had been emptied in the 90s, and only facades and party walls stand up, and have to be preserved.

In accordance with the local government criteria, and the current Special Protection Plan, we planned rehabilitation with wooden framework and a zinc roofing, restoring facades, and preserving or reproducing woodwork in windows.

Preserving the medieval parcelling, and so the courtyard and rear facade, two flats habe been planned on each floor (in compliance with current living standards), and also commercial premises on the ground floor.
